Commercial real estate: Brokers go hog wild
December 12, 2007
And they’re off, like a thundering herd of … brokers?
Next June 1 will bring commercial brokers a new way to give back, according to David Pennetta, executive vice president of Oxford & Simpson, based in Jericho. That’s the day when he and other real estate types will rev up the hogs and set off on Broker’s Thunder, a charity motorcycle run. “One of the benefits that I see,” Pennetta says of his motorcycle group, “is that the other brokers you’re doing business with every day, you’re friendly with, rather than just being under the gun negotiating deals,” he says. “It makes it easier.”
